Honestly, this has to stop already...
The rain, that is.
This rain. This song.
The rain sings like a deep old song.
Murkish water awash, with contempt the skies they watch.
Blatant screamings held cold and low as she lift herself onboard.
Just like the rain taunting at the window, wind whistles and blows.
she says it like it is, as she buries into that bottle neck.
Blinded like she seemed, she would not lie if she could see the clear blue sky.
Yet she would ,as the rain sings like a deep old song,
The sky muted with her cries, her tears falling into the kaleidoscope of life.
why, she asked
why does the rain sings like deep old song?
This song. This Life.
This rain.
This song. This Life.

Huat ah!
The reason for my short hiatus away from my dear little blog ( though honestly i doubt anyone;s counting anyway) is the fact that I refused to start the first post of the year on a morbid, sour or bitter note.
I am not caught up with something terrible and I am not terribly busy with anything either.
Here I am, force-fed with fancy flu medication, trying very hard to find a word to describe my emotions, my thoughts, my being. The only word which emcompasses all of this and more, is unfortunately the most overused ' SIAN'. I'm not sure about you but I am indeed averse to the negativity and seemingly aimlessness which accompany this word.
1. My work is in the ho-hum state but occasionally made interesting by conferences and overseas work trips. I am heading to London next month for training, yay or nay?!
I enjoy conferences even though I am usually Miss D0-it-all ( on other words, miss bao-kah-liao) when it comes to logistics ( due to the nature of my company, i usually attend conferences as exhibitor) and the likes. Meeting people and doing the pseudo sales pitch make me realise that
the industry is huge, the players many and more importantly the world is small.
Honestly, i appreciate the autonomy which comes with my job and the fact my job makes me more streetwise and business-savvy.
2. I.AM.FAT. - I am not getting fatter. I am fat, that's the true. Demoralising I know, didn't help that I had lovely steriod shot because of my pesky eczema. Go read about the side effects!
I'm not particularly unhappy but not completely satisfied either. It may seem that I am greedy but it seems more likely to me there is something that I ought to do, have to do which I am not doing at the moment.
I'm not living my life as a retard, as a wimp. Word is cheap.
